Personally, I was amazed the first time that I tried EFT. I was having difficulty in a relationship and I wanted to change my thinking about it. I did the tapping with a faciliator and felt immediate relief. About a week later I found myself having the same habitual thoughts that had been troubling me before only this time . . . there was ZERO emotional response to the thoughts!
Without the emotional response my mind simply stopped having these thoughts. This effect shocked me and I was very surprised. It completely changed the dynamics within the relationship.
